Director Biography

Rafael G. Sierra better known around set as “Ralphy” has always had an interest in the entertainment industry, specifically in the film industry. By taking the first step in 2006, Ralphy made a decision to go back to school, film school. He enrolled in Full Sail University and has learned a great deal of knowledge in filmmaking. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Ralphy moved to California in 2009 to pursue his dreams. In Los Angeles, he started working in the Art Department in television shows and films, but his passion was to write, direct and produce.

In 2012, Ralphy started Sierra Saga Studios, which was his videography/film production company. Not only does he produce his short films, but he also produces, directs & edits commercials, music videos, behind the scenes, etc… In 2014, he wrote, produced and directed a dramatic love story. The short film is called “The Wallet” which has won Best Director and Best Short Film at the Innovative Film Festival in 2015. He also recently wrote, produced and directed a supernatural- horror short, called “Snatched Away” which has currently begun its film festival run.

Rafael Sierra is currently getting his ducks in a row by writing, planning, filming and learning as much as possible. He has future plans to be a definite reputable force and hoping to start a foundation as solid, widespread, and creatively versatile as “The Greats.”

Join us on Friday, November 4, 2017 at 6 pm for the Tuolumne County PREMIERE of The Other Kids at the Summerville High School Theatre!

Tickets for this 1-night only SPECIAL PRESENTATION TICKET are only $10 in advance through October 31, 2017.

EARLY BIRD ticket purchases online

After October 31st, tickets can be purchased only at the door on November 4th for $15 each.

Arrive as early as 5:30 pm.
